Tabitha was lost!

2015  Saturday, January 17

"Wow- what a day and how a day can change. Tabitha was lost about an hour. Called the police- they found her behind the house. She was soaking wet and scared and shaky. Thank you Lord."

Oh, how I remember that day! It was in the afternoon. The day was actually warm. The grandchildren were playing outside  and so was Tabitha. I was at my daughter's house. My 2 daughters and their husbands and children, (they all have 5 at home right now)  and my husband and I and Tabitha all live on 18 acres of land. Actually, about 6 acres of land is cleared , where are houses are. I remember yelling and yelling Tabitha's name...and no answer. The worst feeling in the world. I remember praying FERVENTLY. I really learned the true understanding of the verse about the effectual fervent prayer... that day.
 I am so grateful that Tabitha was found that day. I thank God.

 NOTE: The Sheriff's Department has a program called, Project Life Saver. A tracking device is attached to her ankle and transmits a signal to the the Sheriff's Department. We were unaware of this program when Tabitha was lost that day. Today she wears her anklet every day.

 "Mother and Daughter banquet. Theme was H.A.T.S.
 Happy Attitude Toward Service. 
 Also wore hats. Jessica wore a Christmas Hat.
 She looked so Cute! She didn't win,but she's #1 to me."

LISTEN TO THE BIRDS…
What? I don’t have time for that…well, if you don’t take time to listen to the birds,will you really hear what people are saying?

LOOK UP AT THE SKY…
The key to being positive is to keep looking up! The heavens declare the glory of God!

HEAR THE SOFT WIND BLOW…
Ahhh …that takes discipline! The soft wind is compared to quietness, inner peace, meditation, prayer and the Holy Spirit speaking.

WATCH A FLOWER GROW…
It is absolutely amazing to watch a seed sprout and then day by day, watch it mature into a flower or plant! There are multitudes of lessons that can be applied to your life when you simply watch and observe.

HUG THE SUNSET…
Wow! Sunsets are beautiful…doesn’t it seem like God is giving you a huge hug when you see one? The day is winding down now…you think I have to do this and now this and… STOP! Give yourself a hug. You deserve i.!

SAY HELLO TO THE MOON…
That’s silly! Yup, it is! Laughter is the best medicine. You talk to yourself, so you might as well talk to the moon too! Laugh, giggle and chuckle at life!

COUNT THE STARS…
That’s impossible, it sure is! But nothing is impossible with God! He has all the stars counted! The hairs of your head are all counted! Wow! You can count on God!

SING YOUR FAVORITE TUNE…
Music soothes the soul! Good, instrumental music does wonders to a tired body and mind. Singing keeps your spirit and soul smiling.

ENJOY THE NIGHT…
Take a relaxing bath, drink some herbal tea, read a good book, watch an old movie, write a letter, start a hobby, call an old friend, or date your spouse.

BE STILL AND KNOW GOD…
That is difficult in this fast –paced, drive-thru world. SLOW DOWN! Read the Bible one word at a time! Desire to know God, not just to know about Him. A quiet time of devotion and prayer is an essential part of each day.

ALWAYS DO WHAT’S RIGHT…
When you know God, you want to do what’s right! You may fail, but the desire and the want to is there! Do what is right in God’s eyes, not the world’s view. Excellent character and integrity is the light that this world needs to see.

Success is not measured in what you own or what you drive or what kind of house you live in; success is measured each and every day on your attitude and your relationship with God and with people. Success is living each day with a focused purpose. Finished another 5 year diary! 2014 -2018. Ready to begin a new Diary. A new Journey. Some days may just be normal. regular, but some may be that I have not passed this way before. May you all have a most blessed and prosperous New Year.
